A patio threshold

Many years of West-coast weather take a toll, even on a well-cared-for patio doorway. Things like this don't always intrude on your conscious awareness, but when they're redone we notice the improvement on what we'd gotten used to.

Simple ceiling paint

Humidity gets to bathroom fixtures, including sprinkler heads - but you can quickly (and safely) repaint those, while freshening up tired ceiling paint.

Dim garage lighting fix

On the left, the 100-watt bulb original to the space. On the right, an LED panel sending out twice the light.

With both sides sending out a total of 300 watts' equivalent, this garage is bright even in gloomy weather

Refreshing seals on working surfaces

Not a glamourous fix, either, but important for cleanliness and to keep moisture away from that countertop's vulnerable underside.
